With over 25 years combined experience, the paralegals and staff at Bishop Legal are an integral, valued part of the team. They support the firm’s attorneys and clients in a wide range of roles including case management, handling phone calls, collecting documentation, and litigation support. Our staff helps provide clients the personalized service and results needed in a difficult time.

Bishop Legal is proud of its staff and their outstanding service to clients. Roberto Salas

Roberto Salas joined Bishop Legal in 2019 in the important role of Legal Assistant after much experience practicing law in Mexico. He graduated from the University of Guadalajara, where he was one of the top students of his class. He completed his master’s degree in criminal justice and business, which allowed him the opportunity to help many low-income residents in Mexico.

Roberto now enjoys living in the Seattle region with his wife and two daughters and even pretends to like our rain. He enjoys cooking and spending time with his family. He is continuing his education and plans to become a licensed attorney in Washington in the future.

Javier Torres

Javier Torres joined the Bishop Legal team as a paralegal in March 2022. Born and raised in Lake Chelan, WA, he is a recent graduate of the University of Washington with a BA in International Studies and a focus on Human Rights and Law. He is fluently bilingual in Spanish and English.

As a paralegal, Javier carries out his passion for law and diversity by aiding in the navigation of the claims process and fostering meaningful connections with clients of all cultures and backgrounds. 

Presently, Javier lives in Seattle and when he is not in the office enjoys spending time with friends and family, swimming and lifting weights.

Alexandrea Kelly

Alexandrea Kelly joined the Bishop Legal firm as a paralegal in January 2011, after graduating from the University of Washington with a BA in Spanish, with a focus in Latin-American Studies. She is bilingual, speaking Spanish and English fluently. While at the University of Washington, Alexandrea studied abroad in Mexico where she studied immigration to the US and migration in Mexico.

As a paralegal at Bishop Legal, Alexandrea assists the firm in all stages of the claims process.

Alexandrea was born and raised in Washington. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and children, taking walks, gardening, and camping in the Pacific Northwest.

James Gallegos

James Gallegos joined Bishop Legal as a paralegal in September 2017 just after graduating with honors from Highline College with an associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies.

As a paralegal at Bishop Legal, he continues his passion for the law so that he can serve and help people who have suffered serious injuries. He is a paralegal who speaks Spanish and English, is DSHS certified as a medical interpreter, and is in the process of becoming certified as an official court interpreter. James frequently returns to Highline College as a guest speaker to speak to students about his experience as a paralegal.

James currently lives in the city of Federal Way with his wife, four-year-old daughter, and two-year-old son. James is fond of going camping and enjoying the outdoors with his family.

Nicia Torres

Nicia Torres joined the Bishop Legal team as a bilingual paralegal in April 2019, shortly after graduating from the University of Washington with a BA in Spanish with a focus in education, learning, and societies. She takes pride in providing excellent legal support to her English and Spanish speaking clients.

Nicia was raised in Honduras, coming from a family of teachers, with the exception of her grandfather, who served in the US Army as a Lieutenant Colonel for 22 years. In addition to working at Bishop Legal, Nicia enjoys going to new places, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family. She enjoys playing all types of sports and going to the gym.

Cesar Andaluz

Cesar Andaluz

Cesar Andaluz is a Marketing and Operations Specialist who started working at Bishop Legal in March 2008. Cesar’s enthusiasm, professionalism, and most importantly, his ability to provide excellent customer service to our clients is vital at Bishop Legal.

Cesar manages administrative and marketing tasks at the firm to ensure the office functions efficiently. He works side by side with the firm’s attorneys and paralegals to provide invaluable case support. He is the firm’s tech guru and spearheads many of the technology advances that are implemented at the firm. One of Cesar’s greatest talent is building enduring relationships with our clients.

Cesar is originally from Ixtapa Zihuatanejo, Guerrero, Mexico. He currently lives on his acreage homestead near the foothills of Mount Rainier with his wife and daughter. He is an avid outdoorsman, enjoying both hunting and fishing in the wilderness and rivers of Washington state.
