Jacques LeJeune was born and raised near New Orleans, LA. There, Jacques earned a bachelor’s degree in global diplomacy, and moved to the Pacific Northwest to attend Seattle University School of Law, where they graduated with magna cum laude honors. Jacques excels in the court room, and brings decades of performing arts experience to the court room to present clients’ cases and to lead the jury through complex issues to the truth.
Prior to joining Bishop Legal, Jacques owned and operated their own law firm for several years as a solo practitioner. Jacques is skilled at managing a high and heavy case load and at adapting to ever-changing circumstances. Jacques has a keen and enthusiastic eye for detail, and is committed to achieving consistently stellar results for their clients. Jacques has worked previously as a defense attorney, and brings valuable insights as to the needs and strategies of the defense, as well as how to counter and outwit the defense as plaintiff’s counsel.
Jacques lives with their wife and two cats in Renton. Jacques is a professional singer and enjoys yoga, hiking, exercise, cooking, and wine. Jacques speaks French and English. An avid writer, Jacques has assisted in writing China-Africa Dispute Settlement: The Law, Economics, and Culture of Arbitration, and has authored a scholarly article published in 2011, titled “The Kiobel Case: An Untenable Precedent.”
